Lancang

Lancang was my first stop in the Xishuangbanna autonomous prefecture. It is located deep in the Southwest corner of Yunnan about 60 miles from the Myanmar (Burma) border. The minority people there are know for their colorful clothing.
The roads to Xishuangbanna are mostly unpaved and mountainous making for a long 19 hour bus ride. Fortunately the bus is specially equipped with beds so that most of ride can be slept off.
