Shangyun

Shangyun is a small charmless village about 50 miles North of Lancang. It was here where I met up with my friend Greg. Greg was taking the back roads from Western Yunnan while researching places to see for his new tour guide job. We spent a couple days here hiking around in the mountains behind town. This was truly off the beaten path for travelers, where we were probably the only foreigners within a 50 mile radius.
