Tiger Leaping Gorge trek

A must do for all rugged travelers is the Tiger Leaping Gorge trek, located just North of Lijiang. This two-day trip along the Chang Jiang (Long River or Yangzi) starts at river level and works its way up to mid Gorge elevation. The trail is sprinkled with many guesthouses making this trip quite relaxing. The trail zigzags and cuts through the mountainside, constantly offering a magnificent views.
